Energy Balancing by Numbers

Based on the idea that the body holds thousands of subtle frequencies, this practice uses specific numerical sequences — each one corresponding to a particular frequency, such as an organ system, emotion, or nutrient — to help bring the body’s energy field back into balance. The numbers can be spoken, written, worn, or simply held in awareness during a session. Developed by Lloyd Mear over roughly two decades of work.

Tong Ren

A modality developed by acupuncturist Tom Tam, drawing on Chinese medicine and the idea that the body has an energetic blueprint that can be supported even at a distance. Using a small anatomical figure and a light tapping tool, the practitioner works on points connected to specific areas of the body. Many people find sessions calming and notice a sense of opening, warmth, or release.

Bengston Energy Healing Method

Developed by researcher William Bengston, PhD, this hands-on method pairs gentle touch with a focused mental practice called image cycling, in which the practitioner cycles rapidly through personally meaningful images while working with you. Dr. Bengston has spent decades studying the approach, including in laboratory research.

Reiki

A gentle Japanese energy practice in which I place my hands lightly on or just above your body. The work is quiet and non-invasive — most people describe feeling deeply relaxed, sometimes warm, often noticing the kind of stillness the body can’t easily reach on its own. No belief or preparation is needed. You simply lie down and receive.

This work brings together what I’ve learned across nursing and several energy healing traditions. Each of the modalities below approaches healing in its own way, but they share a common premise: the body holds its own wisdom, and given the right kind of attention, it knows how to come back into balance. Sessions are gentle and non-invasive. No particular belief is required — just a willingness to slow down and receive. We can talk through what feels like the right fit, or weave together more than one in a single session. All of these services can also be offered virtually.

Services

A note on this work

The sessions I offer are intended to support your overall well-being and to complement — not replace — medical, psychiatric, or other professional care. Although my background includes nursing, this work is offered in my role as an energy practitioner. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for ongoing care with your physician or licensed provider. If you are managing a health condition, please continue working with your provider. Energy work is meant to sit alongside that care, not in place of it.
